| This Economy....hurting us all!

In 2005 I took on a second job as a weekend security officer that I held on to for 2 years. The extra income was nice but it was tough because I had no time to spend with friends and family. Well, recently I have decided to accept a second job again that will be deliveries as a sub-contractor, but the good part is I can deny them when I have things already planned when I'm dating or spending time with my son! With the prices of gas, food and entertainment I feel this can be a GOOD move in keeping ahead on having extra money, and that I'm fortunate to find such a job! Whatever happened to the american dream of holding 1 job and feeding the family easily? I think those days are over. It also bothers me when I hear stories of people who get money from our gov't by making false claims when they actually have the ability to work. The only answer to ever getting ahead in our country is to get off your a** and hold a job!!!!
