| A Leap of Faith

I am one who likes to think that I have a pretty good understanding of people and the trials and tribulations that we all go through. We all are unique individuals with unique stories to tell, gifts to nurture and share, yet we all share common bonds.
Sometimes the hardest thing to do in life is to surrender to that little voice inside that gently nudges us all from within. The very fact that we are all here sharing a bit of ourselves to people we have never met shows that we vulnerable yet have conviction. We are cautious, yet unafraid.
To wear one's heart on one's sleeve can be unsettling. But, it is only when we make that great leap of faith and we find that the ground is still firmly beneath our feet that we can relax, exhale and continue the journey.
The road to our destination may not always be smooth but we should always find solace in the fact that we are all where we are supposed to be in life at any given moment in time.
If we stay the course, keep our hearts and minds open, trust in ourselves and in our higher power, then we will surely arrive at that place where we want to be. A little stronger, a little wiser and a better person for having trusted and for having taken that great leap of faith.
