9/11/2001 Was the Lord there that day.

'MEET ME IN THE STAIRWELL'

You say you will never forget where you were when
you heard the news On September 11, 2001.
Neither will I.

I was on the 110th floor in a smoke filled room
with a man who called his wife to say 'Good-Bye.' I
held his fingers steady as he dialed. I gave him the
peace to say, 'Honey, I am not going to make it, but it is OK..I am ready to go.'

I was with his wife when he called as she fed
breakfast to their children. I held her up as she
tried to understand his words and as she realized
he wasn't coming home that night.

I was in the stairwell of the 23rd floor when a
woman cried out to Me for help. 'I have been
knocking on the door of your heart for 50 years!' I said.'Of course I will show you the way home - only
believe in Me now.'

I was at the base of the building with the Priest
ministering to the injured and devastated souls.
I took him home to tend to his Flock in Heaven. He
heard my voice and answered.

I was on all four of those planes, in every seat,
with every prayer. I was with the crew as they
were overtaken. I was in the very hearts of the
believers there, comforting and assuring them that their faith has saved them.

I was in Texas , Virginia , California , Michigan . I was standing next to you when you heard the terrible news. Did you sense Me?

I want you to know that I saw every face. I knew
every name - though not all know Me. Some met Me
for the first time on the 86th floor.

Some sought Me with their last breath.
Some couldn't hear Me calling to them through the
smoke and flames; 'Come to Me... this way... take
my hand.' Some chose, for the final time, to ignore Me. But, I was there.

I did not place you in the Tower that day. You
may not know why, but I do. However, if you were
there in that explosive moment in time, would you have
reached for Me?

Sept. 11, 2001, was not the end of the journey
for you . But someday your journey will end. And I
will be there for you as well. Seek Me now while I may
be found.. Then, at any moment, you know you are
'ready to go.'

I will be in the stairwell of your final moments.

God

Stop and think and appreciate God's power
in your life, for doing what you know is pleasing to
Him.

I love my God. He is my fountain of Life and My Savior. He Keeps me going day and night. Without Him, I am no one. But with Him, I can do everything. Christ is my strength.

May God Bless America , One Nation Under GOD!

In the end, it's between

You and God.

It was never between you

and men at all.

ctprincess	9/8/2009 6:02:53 AM I was living in NY at the time and I remember it well. I have lost many friends and friends of mine lost husbands/wives. One in particular, a mother of 4, and working only part time lost her husband of 25 years. She still is struggling...as did many others.

bklynbabi	9/8/2009 9:36:45 AM I was in my room watching TV watching the Towers fall & the devestation that followed, knowing there were people I knew in those buildings & all around that area. I will never be the same, we will never be the same.
miss6042	9/8/2009 12:40:59 PM Without God in my life I wouldnt be here. He has crried me through many things in my life..I am blessed to have Jesus as my Savior. I watched the events of 911 on TV that day..It was almost memorizing to watch..My mind did not want to accept what my eyes were seeing..How could this happen in my country?? I believe the poem above is so true of what God was doing that day. His word says He will never leave us or forsake us..

He has crried me through many things in my life, miss6042, I could not agree with you more, without him coming into my life, I would not be here either. I can remember 9/11 so clearly, I was at work, and walked by a tv just as the 2nd plane crashed into the tower, it is a site I will never forget.
flirty_me_1	9/8/2009 5:23:57 PM python, I was in my kitchen with the TV on in the Den, I could see & hear as the camera went to the first tower. I leaned on the counter. Though of my NY family, wondered where they were, the second plane flew into the second tower. Trying to make out what was going on, just a all of America was trying to comprehend as we watched. About 30 minutes later, my friend called. She was so upset. Could not find her son that worked in NY, NY about 3 blocks from the towers. He was not in his building, but about 7 blocks away when the towers went down. About an hour later, he was able to call her. Sad day for all. I will never forget. We all called on God that day, he was there.
shesgone	9/9/2009 4:19:03 PM I was at Columbia University on the uptown end of Manhattan. After what seemed like an eternity to her and after asking the Lord to let her get through, my wife talked with me on my cell phone. God's grace brought us through not only this but when I alone faced him taking her home!
