“The Sunrise”
I drove to the top of a mountain,
Just to watch the sunrise.
The beauty I was looking at,
As it spread across the skies.
The colors were so amazing,
As they spread across a cloud.
Yellow – Orange – Purple,
Some soft and some loud.
I sat for what seemed like hours,
As the colors faded away.
Before I left, I made sure,
To Thank God for each and every day.
