Man In Her Heart
My visions a little blurry about the girl who loves to worry
She puts herself around four walls acting very skeptical
And her soul is broken with no trust in men
Let me start by saying I'm the man in her heart
She's tired of feeling blue hoping that she finds someone new
I'm showing her that I care though she's feeling really scared
She doesn't want me near even when I wipe away her tears
But I'm willing to prove her wrong by singing her a song
She needs a shoulder to cry on, she can cry on mine
She's locked in a quandary between love and hate
Will she feel relieved if I can be her missing piece
She's feeling so much sorrow, can she let love grow
Doesn't want to speak though I kissed her on the cheek
Her hair is nicely sleeked she's very unique
Our worlds won't collide when she shuts me out with pride
Feeling bitter on the outside I can see her trying on the inside
With tears of a clown I will turn her frown upside down
I will make her a sweet tart to show that I'm the man in her heart
She wants the world to disappear now she's blinded with fear
She stumbles on the ground hoping no one is around
Landing right next to me I get her back on her feet
I will be her sunshine to cast away her black clouds
Its alright to scream and shout just let it all out
She's been cheated on once before but refuses to admit defeat
Because a broken heart is a disease
Stand by me she'll feel at ease
As she's throwing pots and pans, she comes to realize I can truly understand
She's just traumatized so I remain extremely poised
No point running like a little boy time to show her a real man
Its never too late can she recognize my distinguishing traits
Do I stand a chance to be in her life
Be boyfriend and girlfriend then later husband and wife
Express this in words of art for I'm the man in her heart
Don't have to be perfect, I can treat her with respect
Just let love in and relinquish the hate
Not all men are that way for I'm here to stay
Don't dwell in the past and thats a fact
A simple kiss on her forehead made her cheeks blush red.
