blown away on an unforgiving autumn wind
stripped of all comfort I had known
torn apart and sent scattered in the air
rushing aimlessly towards an azure sky
how i long to feel that uneven ground
my feet planted in love once again
safe and secure from the unbearable breeze
that eyes me like a weak and helpless prey
so many questions still yet unanswered
as she tries to forget my very smile
but shes fooling only herself in the dark
because in time karma will come to crush her
so i trudge on that cold and lonely road
feeling that hurt deep in my restless stomach
wondering how she could love me so much
then turn and walk away like i never existed
time is a friend but greets me like an enemy
burns away all will to treat them nice
when my everything was for her and for always
and in the end left me broken and lost
my skin is my shield protecting whats inside
what all you can't seem to figure out
that through all the walls we seem to put up
deep inside there's a thing called a HEART
and it can be DESTROYED......
