life is full of surprises
by katfancy at 9/24/2009 7:35:50 PM

on Aug.8, 2009,.. i met a man in springfield, missouri.. it was a whirlwind romance.. fantastic for about the first 3 weeks.. we were so comfortable with each other. almost like soulmates that i have really never can say i have experienced before...but as time went on. i saw alot of controlling, being too bossy, wanting all my time with him and not time for my family, belittling, wanting every one of my movements known to him,.. but was a great guy.. unfortunately i was getting alot of red flags from past 2nd marriage and we ended our relationship basically as of september 24, 09...i dont want to hold any thing from the past into future relations but WOW.. they popped up everywhere...i will never forget the man. but we have to move on..may everybody experience the feelings that him and i had for those short few weeks.. God bless... katfancy

Red flags wave for a reason - it's all about learning from the past so we don't repeat our mistakes. Great outlook on your experience.

Red Flags are God's way of protecting us and You take the good with the bad if not followed {a lot of heart aches}. Glad you had fun even if it was for a only a short time but a long time shall you remember of ? What could have been?

Even the worst of relationships have some good. You recognized the red flags early enough in this relationship to be able to carry forth what was good about it. The shame of it is you both will suffer for a bit for what could have been, becuase of HIS insecirities. GOOD LUCK......

Many say love is blind. NO, NO, it is not. God Bless you fancy. You definitely made the right decision and saved a lot of heartache.

I can't say much more than what has been said above me, except to say.....you have learned.
