disappointment..

Most of the weekend I worked, with little sleep and managed to be told that someone is still in love with their ex, after spending time getting to know me, feel "not so bueno!" Maybe I'll learn.... I hate the way I feel right now. Sometimes I wonder if it's worth taking the risk getting to know somebody new? I don't like the pain and the way my heart feels when I let my guard down and then get hurt like this. I really should know better....

It IS disappointing. He had no business being out there knowing he's still in love with his ex. I guess you can be thankful you weren't the rebound relationship. Just take things slow in the future to give yourself time to acclimate to another's personality but don't become so guarded the other person can't acclimate to you. It's a fine line I know & a careful balancing act. Stay positive.

Some people go looking for the replacement before the curremt relationship is even over.I guess it's likeshopping for a car to those.Drive the old one around looking for the new one and when yopu find it BAM BYE BYE old modle.....

If the ex has not been an ex at least a year in divorce and almost two in a death I am very hesitent to get involved. If they continually talk about them (good or bad) they have not reached resolution. I worked on myself very hard to get rid of all the negatives from my past and put the positives in their proper place. Sorry but it is not my job to help someone move forward, They should do that before they even think about a relationship JMHO

Have fun and stay postive and one has to take a chance but try and do it with your eyes wide open and I know it is easy to say but when there is magic you forget."""There is a fine line """so one has to find the center and balance as Love is an insane state of being"""""" Just do not be too hard on yourself.
