Trust me when I say you'll feel better about it when you've uncluttered your life, so to speak. Makes it easier to move in another direction without baggage of the past or unnecessary 'stuff'

To start a new life ten years ago, I got rid of everything and moved 2500 mi.to NM in my car. I even gave my mom's heirlooms to family, only keeping a small box. An E-sized plotter took up my entire back seat, and everything else was on a roof rack or in the trunk. Well, as people visited those heirlooms came back to me and I have a house FULL of junk! I'm right back where I started and I never did use the plotter.

Does anybody else remember the George Carlin routine about 'STUFF"? I am such a pack rat....... I did, however, get rid of some clothing I shrank out of through two yard sales this year.

I started that process a few years ago, and so far is going well. Now I am down to a one bedroom apartment, from a 3 bedroom/2 car garge house. I would ask myself "Do I REALLY need it" and "When was the last time I USED it". If the answer was NO/NEVER, it was gone.
