| The life of the world to come

First I'm friggin stoked to see the mountain goats again in November!
Second. The idea of the life of the world to come is incredible to me because we so often forget that, biblically speaking, after Christ returns we all who are saved ascend into heaven and often we think that's it. But it's not there is te new earth. Which to me is awesome. A life of all the beauty of the world with none of the evil we drown in daily. Just us god and nature.
When I think about this I often think of my best nature experiances. Whether it was being on top a mountain near mt baker in northern Washington and not hearing a single noise. Or white water rafting in Denali national park and just seeing how beautiful it all was. Or fly fishing in the middle of nowhere in Alaska. All those things remind me that there is the life of the world to come and I see glimpses of it now.
