Diary of a Frog Queen... Update from the pond...
by gen1000 at 10/5/2009 6:53:59 AM

Dear Diary,

I'm quickly learning that frog hunting takes stamina. It's like trying on coats. They've all got potential but finding just the right one can be tricky and time consuming. The first one you try on may look good but could be too tight in the sleeves...the next one might have a button (or two) missing. But we press on... because as humans we are programmed to want something to keep us warm and to shelter us when the rain of life comes our way.

And so the frog hunt continues...just at a slower pace. Three first dates in eight days was a little much.

Frog #1 was incredibly sexy. He was older, very polished in his speech and oh so smooth. Almost too smooth. You could tell this frog had been around the pond more than a couple times. It had beware written all over it. But was a very nice date.

Frog #2 was a cutie. Fifty years old and looked closer to thirty eight. Hint to all frogs out there... don't talk about the other women you are dating when on a first date with me. LOL.

Frog #3 started out very nice. He even brought me a nice hello gift of flowers...but he seemed to indicate that I "owed" him for those. Hint #2 to all frogs out there.. if you give a gift make sure you are giving it freely...doesn't feel nice to think that someone expects you to "pay" them in some physical way for what you said was a gift.

Frog #4 Ahhh..what can I say about Frog #4. He has great potential. One of the nicest frogs to whom I've ever had the pleasure of speaking. Course I haven't gotten close enough to find the warts yet. But he may turn out to be a great friend as I learned recently that he and an ex have reconciled ...which is a good thing if he is happy.

Frog#5 Pure Adrenaline rush. Like listening to Led Zepplin while sking down the wrong side of a mountain. 'Course anyone that kewl comes with a lot of issues and probably not much chance of longterm. Still, Frog #5 has definitely been worth knowing.

So Diary... is there a frog out there in the pond for me? I don't know. Sometimes I get tired of looking..but then I think, life is very short to sit on this lily pad all alone. Until next time..see you soon down at the bog.
