| it's been a year now

Ok, it's been about a year since I joined this site. So far all I can say is...interesting.
This does not include the two guys I have met in person.....I have been wondering a few things: How far is too far for you guys? How come some of you will look at my profile numerous times but not write? I set my "winks" back on but to be quite honest I don't know how to respond when someone winks in the first place. Am I suppose to wink back if interested? Or send a note? I just don't know. And how come, once contact is made, you guys just disappear? If not interested you could drop a note and say so. And how is it that,if phone numbers are exchanged, you can tell from just one short phone call that it won't work? Maybe I was nervous. Give a girl a break okay, lol. And even if you know it's not right, maybe at least drop a note telling me. Again, you all just disappear on me.
So, it's been a year....what have I gained? I gained two good friends. I also gained a few online friends. Thank you to the few guys who didn't disappear. My friends.
What is still missing? That one guy that makes me want to get off this site...lol. That one special guy. I have hope that you are out there. What's taking you so long to find me?
So, If you are reading this...and have checked out my profile...and like what you see...feel free to drop a line. Even if you don't think you fully fit my "needs", take a chance....I don't bite. And any suggestions as to what I may be doing "wrong", those I welcome with open arms. Be nice about it though, lol.
