Before I exhaust this language
Completely
And rustle through inadequacies
To corrupt that tendancy beneath these veins
To hide
Before I fault the world for my mistakes
Inexorably
And demand reprieve for these things
And am reminded at least a thousand times
It's in my mind
Don't deny me
Don't wait until I walk away
To see me cry
Don't trust I will get over it
Don't forget
I am alive
Yes, those doors of unmarked territory
Deliberately
Pending within corridors and waiting
To uncover thoughtless things like fears
and hate
My unhampered lies brought up in denial
Trustingly
Frail before what's wrong and right
Distinguished only from the shadows of relavancy
In my wake
Don't blame me
Don't think I meant it this way
When I cry
Don't believe I will get over it
Don't forget
These seeds of summer just starting to falter
Abandoning
My world like trees in silence
Were I to uncover them might still show
Grace
And before I take denial as my last stand
Imperatively
Clouded by my own unrestrained disclosure
Even as my eyes strive for comfort while I ignore it
And wait
Don't forsake me
Don't let me lose the last mile
When I cry
Don't imagine I will get over it
Or forget
I am alive
