Over the last several months, I have talked to at least half-a-dozen women who have removed their profiles from online dating sites. The sole reason was that a majority of men contacted them to have sex. In some cases, the guys are married and were looking to be unfaithful to their wives. Others, after exchanging a few eMails, began to send photos of their privates. While I believe that intimacy is a part of a healthy balanced relationship, it’s just one aspect and should be equal to the others. The negative impact of ladies removing their listings is for those of us who are 'really nice guys', there are fewer options. I think that we - men and women alike - have enough obstacles to contend with in order to meet the right person, not to go driving people away. As for the women I spoke with, some have permanently decided online dating is not for them, others have since reposted adding statements to their profiles, and there are those who just deal with in it in the hope of meeting a nice guy. If you are one of those men that main reason you are here is to get laid, do us all a favor, cancel your account, and join a site where your intent is obvious. Or, if you are going to stay here, be honest about your relationship status, what you want, and don't be a pervert. Please!!!
