Teenage Heartache
Only 16 years old, life as a teenager sucks
2 years before graduation then along came "Teenage Heartache"
Looking 8 years in the past I just say its a laugh
I was very docile when I first fell in love
It was random hook up with a childhood friend
We fell in love too soon when we were very young
In 2 months we were done, how could you break away then go separate ways?
You were feeling very dubious about being in a relationship
I was very furious the rejection felt like a broken hip
Demoted from being your boyfriend you made me a pathetic friend then put me through teenage heartache!
I put on a fake smile in reality I'm in denial
My emotions I try to strifle as I slam my head against the tile
Feeling truly overworked its hard to concentrate on my homework
My heart slowly breaks, eternal love was a fake
It was a sham, even with green eggs and ham thats why I failed the polygraph, it happened so fast
A sudden hit to the face left me completely dazed
This hurt more than a dive in a 3 foot pool wasn't able to keep my cool
It was my first broken heart, the pain was the charts for I'm cut up from this emotional scar!
You claim to know a thing or 2 about teenage heartache
My body getting tired but my mind staying awake
My eyes weeping, my heart bleeding, my feelings twisted with slit wrists and a pounding fist against the wall
Little cuts heel in a week, heartache is in too deep
Whats the point playing with knives dealing with a broken heart is part of life
Something I can't prevent, the pain was prevalent, teenage heartache is an ultimate end
This was no accident it was a incident so stop calling me your friend!
Don't even pretend for I never make friends with my ex-girlfriends
There's no reason to have me around, your memories are forever lost and never found
The next guy left you broken, he shut you out when you were open
See what I see, feel what I feel
Its not easy being hurt by someone
Deal with my suffering,witness my pain, and reapt what you sow!
You broke my heart what makes you think someone can't do it to you?
Lesson learned do what you do to others and it will come back to you.
