The sun is shining through
But not one single cloud
It is coming through all this blue
Makes me wanna shout out loud

Son is complaining of the heat
Sun warming through the window
To where his butt is in the seat
Looking closer, I see his smile a glow.
What a day it is to say what a day
He got to play hookie from school
Nice to have some time with him alone
At least he is still too young for the bar and some pool.
He likes spending day with me, my dog and her bone.

To nice outside to do my job
I need to get my butt in gear
My boss may not understand that I am not another Bob
It is my job that I may loose I fear.
