Distant notification Perimeters
by onetrixie at 10/19/2009 8:20:59 PM

Why is it, that when you set the perimeters who can contact you, and you "say" put within a 50 mile radious of your zip code, you still get contacted by people from all over the country? What is up with that?, Does this site really not control what you set your perimeters at? Just Curious!!!!!!!!!

I would think most women (and men) would find it flattering that even those from a distance of say 51 miles or even 5000 miles make contact. Are you really bothered by that?

What's worse: Getting contacted by those from afar or no one contacting you at all? People contacting you that obviously can't read or just don't bother? Better yet, having most all your messages go unresponded to, or the person/people never signing back on? You get what you pay for? Is this an example of what that phrase refers to?

Bryan4136,, No I am not bothered by it, I just choose not to have a long distance relationship, If I wanted that, I would go outside my perimeters, it has nothing to do with flattery, I am just saying, when you choose perimeters and you get 1000 miles away people responding, something obiviously is wrong!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Just my choice that's all, And areu4me2, those from afar, usually are the GHANA scammers, and there are a lot of those on all sites. I do respond to all my messages, even if they are from a distance, but I simply delete the rude and vulgar ones, why would someone even want to meet someone who is vulgar and just plain nasty in a first contact message. Good luck to all
