| Just for my superman

Long ago there was a small baby girl born into this world with out a bit of hope. Parents walked away and the state wouldn't even give her a home. The state code was "living dead child". Then came this couple a few years later, not able to have children they looked to see were they could help the helpless. Looking in through the glass of the hospital the man stated that's my baby. After years of fighting the state system and the fact of the opportunity to finally have a boy of his own, this little girl now over three years old barly walking held the name he gave her. Years pass, yet the fights continued from the simple blood is thicker than water to race, color and of the heart. This man became this little girls superman. He never let her forget that no matter how much she felt pushed aside, not accepted or insignificant he was always there saying how proud he was and helping her through her own darkest hours now raising her own children. Standing beside her as she went through failed relationships, watching her make it to the top. Now time has come where the man has to go on. So with his simple words he wispers to her even Superman has die. So reach for the stars and we will hold hands once again. This world is full of hero's we find them every day, so I just want to say thanks to mine. Love you Daddy.
