Long Distance love reprise:
by derbydriver4evr at 10/21/2009 2:11:34 PM

Ok, the long distance thing is no longer a problem. I finally took the leap and met the one that was catching my heart. We met in Indianapolis Indiana, for a Forties Group gathering, and all went well. I pretty much took myself off the market after that meeting.I was still longing to be with this lady,so we had many, many hours of phone conversations and pretty much came exclusive to one another.
People ask often, how do you have a long distance relationship? And my answer is;Its communication and trust. Just like any other relationship.Physical touch may be lacking, but the emotions are still there.
So now I start another adventure in my life. I flew to Idaho to be with this person, and thus far, it has been awsome !!! The sites that she has shown me are so wildly different to what I am used to seeing, and her lifestyle is more western then I could have imagined.
Now I still have to go back to Ohio, to see my kids, and to take care of unfinished business there, but I see myself being with this person for the rest of time.
So for all the ones that are afraid of distance, don't be. If it is meant to be,it will happen. And the experiences of learning new lifestyles is very rewarding. Take a chance no matter what the distance.
And flip over many rocks on your journey, you will be amazed at what surprises you will uncover.
