| All Middle Age and Nowhere to Go

Here I am...middle-aged with lots of decisions to make: move to Boston, move to Plano...
so here's the diff:
Plano is so far from me and people scare me with all the talk about how hot it is- and will my license transfer there so I can work?
...and yet, I have the two dearest friends of my life there. I can stay them until I get started. Ending a long affair, here in New England. Nowhere to live. Must get out.
Boston: got a job there...could get an apartment near work. But I hate the city! Hate it...my brother is there but very involved and busy...too busy to occupy the fears of his baby sister.
My friends in Plano smoke and have cats, both which make me ill. And I wouldn't be able have a dog (love dogs!) for a long time with this choice...not until I get my license, get a job, and buy a place to live.
I am currently homesless in my soul.
OH: what to do...and where to go.
