| Heroes Abound Once More by wildrose444 at 10/21/2009 8:04:54 PM

I have already written a short story about the protests on my Facebook blog. But I know that I have many loyal friends and readers here, too, who may have an interest in how it all turned out, out there at the Topfree Stand, "Topless B*tch Fest."
I love to play with the First Amendment. I have been enjoying her to the fullest for the past several years. I was fishing topless, in a dress this time! There could be no way for the gendarm to imply that my protests are anything but peaceful.
This year, as many of you know, I diversified my topics of concern. I focussed on things that were closest to my heart and of the most threat to our nation.
A stately looking man had approached me, early into my first protest on Saturday. He shook my hand and told me that he had been following my story for quite some time through the media. He told me that he had been watching the reaction of the people who had come through the protest area. He told me that he felt that I had brought great joy to many people that day. He saw their happy faces and the true sense of Patriotism that came through to me that day. He came back through two more times, before it was all over.
Even Captain Morgan stopped by at the end of the day on Friday. He rode a Harley that was covered in spooky skulls. He wore a pirate's hat with a feather, a large trench coat, lots of beads, and big boots. He looked just like the Captain Morgan on the rum bottle. I got some of the greatest pictures of us together. I even taught him how to say, "ARRGH! Wench! Where's me ale?" I wish that I could put them up here, but you guys know the rules. Shit! They made me take down my bubble bath pictures because they were too provocative. The Captain had a topless wench, in a long flowing skirt, tucked up to him. (Hey, he was a veteran, what can I say?) I really doubt they'd let me put those pics up here. Maybe when I finish writing the "Protestor's Handguide", I will put them in there.
I brought my friend Howie to Saturday's protest. He is a handicapped veteran and quite an innocent fun loving soul. He had heard all about my protests for the year that he has lived here next door to me. He has even gotten a few peaks at my pups a few times. But Saturday, he had the time of his life. He had a happy silly grin on his face the whole day. And he stayed and gave me security through out the day, too. We even had a porn star breeze through the site and come over to take some pictures with me. I found myself wondering if Howie had gotten too much sun on his head or if he blushed all the way up to the top of his head?
So many people brought their children to the protests. I swear there were many more families that came through, on those two days, than ever before. I took many pictures of them.
Sunday was pretty damned chilly, quite nippy, you could say. My mother showed up and tried to get me to put a sweater on. I just smiled at her and thanked her. No piece of cloth would come between me and my Victory dance that day.
Then the Guys from Gordon Motorsports out of Miami showed up. They had a video camera and a microphone. Oh,my! I had never given a topless interview before. And it was the end of the day of the second protest. I was a mess. My ahir was totally windblown. My ex used to call it my "Just been f**ked look". Wild hair, mascara under my eyes, and puffy red chapped lips. Yep, that was my first topless interview alright! Figures! Awe, heck, who needs a makeup artist when you live by the ocean, anyhow?
I am trying to stay awake to listen to and possibly call into "Evident Footprints" on BBS radio, with Don Nicoloff. I have something very exciting to tell him about the bioweapon vaccines. I will write more about this and my protest on my next blog entry.
