| Love (The Many Faces Of)

What is Love?? How many times has that been asked?? Does anyone know what love is??
I love. I love many and love differently. I love my family unconditionally. I love my friends, my job. I love life. Most importantly I love myself.
To be loved you must love yourself. If you do not love yourself you cannot be loved. Loving yourself will emanate a glow from within. Once your heart shows love it opens the door to be loved.
Love does not come freely and there are times when one needs to build on it to achieve it. Love does not come without heartache. But to be able to release the heartache and love again is truly loving.
Trust is love. Trusting someone shows that there is love. Giving you heart to someone and trusting them not to break it, is love.
Sharing is love. Sharing your wants, needs and desires is love. Sharing the good and the bad is love. If you cannot share all with someone you cannot truly love them.
Giving is love. Giving of oneself to another is love. Giving and not expecting in return is love.
Acceptance is love. Accepting someone for who they are is love. Not trying to change them is love. Accepting the good and bad that may come along the way is love.
Intimacy is love. Passion, romance, sensuality all are love. The ultimate form of love is being able to give yourself intimately to someone.
I search for love. Will I find it?? I cannot answer that question. I do know that I can achieve all that has been written here and my heart is open. So I become yet another face of love with an open heart and hope that it captures someone’s LOVE.
