| The Lottery

...Today has been the kind of day when you get reminded of the important things in life.Family is on the list along with friends and all those we love.Even a stranger on the street is on the list of importanr people.Who you are is part of the package also.Did you show kindness today,did you make another's life better even in a seemingly trifle way?
...I was reminded today of what it truely means to be human.Grief was felt and shared and the burden became lighter for all in the sharing.Reminders were put forth as to the things that make us the members of spiecies human that we are.What is it that realy matters?We all must answer this for ourselves and stay true to the person that those answers make of us.
...On a given day I may not have two nickles to rub together but I count myself a wealthy man.I know clearly the who that I am.I know that I bring my own special brand of humanity to the fellows I travel with here in this micro universe.Respect for myself and others runs through my veins.Love of self and others in my life,and yes those in this life who love me.I am loved and that makes me one of the wealthiest men in the world.My wealth is derived from touching the hearts and souls of my fellow members of this the spiecies human and will only grow as I grow to be a better man tomorrow and all the days of my very rich life.
...I claim the prize in the richest lottery there ever was,the lottery of life.The prize is mine and can never be taken from me if I but choose to claim it as mine.Will you play the lottery today my friends?
