| Things to be thankful for

 My mother recently had heart surgery and I almost lost her. She is here and I am thankful. It's not just still having her here but also having the chance to make sure everything is right between us. Life is so short and I wouldn't be able to live with myself if She had passed before we had a chance to reconcile our relationship.
