All good things must end...

The past three months on the road have been fun.

I've visited nine states, 8 national parks, including the Grand Canyon; three state parks, three zoos, a jazz gig, six prep football games, two homecoming celebrations (high school and college), a county fair, spent time with family and friends, met many new friends; endured hot and cold weather; reached up and touched the stars in the New Mexico mountain, and took hundreds of photos. And... along the way I adopted a dog (Sadie).

In five days I'll start the final leg; back home to my Briar Patch. I miss my little piece of Florida. I'm ready to bring this roadtrip to an end. In my mind I am already savoring the pugent, salty Gulf Coast air. ABout the time the goblins of halloween exit I will arrive.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhh.

10snut	10/25/2009 7:27:27 AM That is the best thing about the extensive travelling you have done - going home. But the joy of seeing new things and places is exciting to me. Would love travelling around and seeing all that at my leisure in the comfort of a nice motor home. Hope you post some of your pics.
pretty_moonpa	10/25/2009 7:31:06 AM fal..lots of people love living in the "snowbelt". When I was younger I could not envision "not" having the 4 seasons.....Now I could do with 3 lol and summers are fast becoming a pain....If I could have spring and fall all year I would take it......without humidity lol now I'm getting really picky

malemotives	10/25/2009 12:40:55 PM Many photos already posted on my facebook place, but will figure out how to post some here. Next year I'll leave earlier and see if I can convince some of you retired folk to join in on the adventure. Eight to 12 people touring and camping would be cool.

iamaperson	10/26/2009 5:33:03 AM Touring the big 'ol USA and Canada in a group would be awesome. There are so many beautiful places to see and experience. If I had the time and the means, I would go along.
