| Discovery Lake to the Towers to Double Peak 10/24/09

Max and I did the hike from Discovery Lake to the radio towers overlooking San Marcos then went back and did the climb to Double Peak, the second highest peak (1644') in the Cerro de las Posas Mountains of San Marcos.
Views of Downtown SD, the ocean, San Gorgonio. Perfect weather.
From Discovery Lake it's 2.5 miles to Double Peak. Elevation change is 1000 ft.
When we got down we did the .8 mile loop around Discovery Lake and went out on the dock so Max could see the ducks.
Beautiful day- very cool group of people, and the views are AWESOME.
