| kind of confused

I am new to this scene. I grew out of the club scene a few years ago, because it never changes. Always shows the worst in people. There pettyness, there innability to think of others, I've had it. and the friends I have are all married, and its kind of hard to get a date over at a friends house thats married. They have their lives and I can tell its an intrusion. I dont know where to go because I dont have much money right now (i'm an electrician) and construction in the country has basically stopped. So my chances at making a good impression are left to my communication skills. And we will see how far that gets me. I wonder if anyone cares about the soul anymore. Is it all just what you wear, or what you drive?
I think maybe I'm in for a very long wait.
