| The Shoes I Wear

Walk a mile in my shoes,
If you can,
I stumble often in them myself.
A smile on my face,
The world I know,
Is never easy.
Life is uhhh,
Uhhhlifeis,
Not what you think,
If you only view me from the surface.
A face can hide alot.
Wrinkles speak volumes,
I have a few.
Lifeisgood,
Lifeishard,
Life is a trodden path,
A search for what I have not found,
Still looking.
Been there, done that.
Still looking.
The shoes I wear,
May look shiny and new,
The scuffs you cannot see,
Remind me,
Of who I am,
And where I've been.
