| Mouse Needs a Friend By Noel

Once there was a Mouse that wanted a friend.
He wanted someone to play hide and seek with.
Someone who would stick up for him.
someone kind and understanding.
A forever friend.
He wrote a letter signed as Dear Friend.
I am looking for a forever friend come find me at the rivers edge.
Sincerely Mouse
Mouse put the letter in a bottle and placed it in the river and saw it float away by the tide.
On that 1st day after he put the bottle in the water.
A deer came prancing out the woods.
Mouse Asked "Can I be Your friend?"
The Deer replied sacrcasticly "Your not as graceful I am.
You could never be my friend".
On the 2nd day Mouse was collecting sticks.
When a big bear stumbled by.
Mouse yelled "Can I be your friend"
The bear yell back "You are to small.
You could never be my friend."
the 3rd day the Mouse was collecting mud.
A beetle crawled by. Mouse asked "can I be your friend."
The Beetle with a sqwicky voice said "Your TOOOOO big"
"You could never be my friend".
The 4th day Mouse was collecting freshly fallen leaves.
A slithering snake push him self through the pile of leaves.
Mouse jumped into the bush "Are you going to be my friend"
And the snake replied in very creepy voice "No I would eat you"
"You could never be my friend".
On the 5th day Mouse was collecting rocks by the rivers edge.
When a Otter swam by.
The Mouse stuck his head in the water " Caaaaaaan IIIIIIII Beee Yooour friiiiend"?
And the Otter pocked his head through the water "No"
"Why not" said Mouse?
"You can't swim You can never be my friend".
On the 6th day Mouse was building a hut from all the sticks, mud, and leaves he collected.
A blue bird flew by. Mouse Asked "Can I be your friend"?
The blue bird said "You can't fly you can never be my friend"
The 7th day Mouse made a fire to cook beans with the rocks and left over sticks.
An ant was busy running by with a bean in his hands. Mouse asked "Can I be your friend"? the ant said "Your not as stong as I am you could never be my friend"
On the 8th day mouse was still waiting for someone to find him to be
Forever friends.
Fox Sturted by Poor Mouse asked again "Can I be your friend"
Fox said "I am way smarter then you"
"You could never be my friend",
On the 9th day mouse was packing his stuff taking down the hut. When Peac*ck walk by.
Mouse said "Wow, Can I be your friend"
The peac*ck said "Your not beautiful like I am you could never be my friend".
Well Mouse was just giving on the 10th day about to leave with no hope at all.
He heard ripal a in the water behind him as he started to walk away.
Mouse looked back at the river he saw Cat rowing a ciyak down the river Cat said "Hi, My friend How Are You". While holding the letter in his hand.
Mouse said your a cat "You could never be my friend". Cat said "Why not the most opposites can be the best of friends if we learn to understand eachothers differences. Hop on and lets leave this place and be Forever friends.
