| Today's Ramble

Happy Thursday to me and to everyone who reads this blog. In my experience with blogs, no one reads them and if they do, they never leave a comment. I've just joined here last night and to my amazement I see some familiar faces. It occurs to me this early morning that maybe we are all looking for someone that is not available to us. So, we keep trying and dating and just when we think we have the right one, a little quirk comes up that ends up being a deal breaker.  Our prince or princess becomes a frog.
We want companionship but not as much as we thought. Or is it that this medium gives the ability to shop some more for just the right person. Maybe we should start looking at the inner layer and not the outer layer that attracts us in the first place. Maybe we start by never posting a picture and by being honest about who we are and what we really like to do. Instead of writing fantasy and dreaming of things we would like to do but have never done them. Like, flying to New York for the first date!!! Nah! That's reality and if we got real we just might find the right person to spend time with and enjoy the hell out of it!
