| What are we teaching our children and grandchildren?

What are we teaching our children and grandchildren? Just think about it. We elect officials by choosing the one who lies the best. We give favorable press to those who do "wrong" or "bad" things. We tell our children small "fibs" instead of saying "because I am the adult" when we get into those "sticky" situations. These little things teach our children and grandchildren that lying is okay. That lying gets you what you want (elected to be president). That telling small "fibs" in order to avoid questions or avoid saying "I don't think that is appropriate to tell you" or "I don't want to tell you that". See we are teaching our children it is okay to do whatever it takes to get what you want. Then we wonder why our jails are full of murderers, robbers, drug addicts, and etc. Yes we are teaching our children and grandchildren, but are we sure we are teaching them what we really thought we were!!!
