| New Year

The New Year came and passed like a speeding train. I opted to let others enjoy amatuer night and wake up alive and well. I did congratulate myself for completing some goals I planned last year with a nice cold beer...or two.
This next year will be a very interesting time in my life. I will be going to Australia in the next month or so. Luckily I have a room mate that feeds my rabbits while I'm away on business. It's always good to see them when I get home. Strange, but I like the little rascals. I started playing with a 30x optical video camera these last few days. It's very interesting how you can distort every day items into something totally believable that is far from what you view. Imagine a fireplace roaring with hot coals and embers all around. Looks like a fire, must be a fire. Now, ZOOM into the same fire at 30X optical zoom and pan around. On playback most people assume they are viewing a planets surface similar to the moon. Zoom out to normal and watch their expressions. That's one of the small things that intrigues me. I'll blog on later about some of the others.
In the meantime, it's off to grab a bucket of chicken. I'm starved. Didn't eat yet today.
