I am building a sprint car engine with enhanced shifting gears and a stroker kit. If the gears fit and work, I will have an engine that will have a very reliable shifting pattern. With the stroker engine, I should create enough speed and power to win a Feature Event in 2008. Last year my big bore engine produced horsepower and pulled wheel stands, but the shifter was not hardy enough. 2008 should produce better results. I dream about a stroker engine producing both horsepower, torque, and speed.
To win where I race, you must have your race car perfect. select the perfect tires for compound and stagger, and your engine has got to be singing the entire race. Last, you must make 100 perfect shifts in the race, or someone else will run you down and beat you.
