Let Go, Let God
I relax, enjoying the view, as God leads me to my blessings.
Watching mothers in nature care for their offspring offers a lesson in letting go and allowing the spirit of God within to do its perfect work. As a mother duck paddles across a pond, she does not push her ducklings ahead of her; she swims along, trusting them to follow her.
This scenario keeps me mindful that I am a part of creation and that I have a divine nature—the spirit of God within me. I know that I can place my trust in God to help me navigate the waters of life with confidence.
If ripples cause me to drift off course, I focus on God during quiet prayer, and the way ahead once again becomes clear. In these moments, I relax, enjoying the view as God leads the way to the blessings that are mine.
“The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures; he leads me beside still waters.”—Psalm 23:1-2
