| Are there any decent places to go and have fun?

I've just kinda recently started this whole dating thing and I'm looking for somewhere to meet cool and interesting people without having to see the 18 year old girls dancing and making themselves look like tramps, so unappealing. So if anyone has any suggestions, please let me know.
Bored and tired of the same old scene.
