And the results of my weigh-in are...

I LOST EIGHT POUNDS!! WOOOO HOOOOO!!!!

For those who don't know, I have made the decision to be healthier and get fit. I have been on my "lifestyle change" diet for about two weeks now. Today was my first weigh in at the doctor's office (I'm going to weigh in bi-monthly to keep me on track)... well, technically it was my second weigh in. The first was to see what my starting weight it.

Today, I weighed in and have lost eight pounds. YES!!!

For those who want to know how: I've cut out desserts and sodas (with the exception of only the very most special occaisions), reduced my caloric intake to somewhere between 1,100 and 1,300 calories, uped my protein, reduced my fat, and I exercise between 30 to 45 minutes no less than five days a week.

YES, it is a lot to undertake. But even with the minimal weight loss I feel SO much better. It is SO worth it! OH, and for the record: I document NOTHING. There is no journaling of calories, what is eaten, etc. I trust my body and mind to do what is right. I find that the less I'm held accountable, the better I do. How about that?!
