Its funny how a first impression can last. Real life, online, so many ways.
Men who portay themselves as smart, witty, capable..very popular with the masses. But then, the masses tend to be blind, and like lemmings..will follow blindly, never realizing that they are rushing, pushing, competing with each other, and chasing something that looks wonderful and real, but in reality? They are being lured in, to come closer and closer to a cliff. And at the bottom of that cliff? The jagged rocks that compromise lies, deceit, manipulation and broken promises. Follow blindly, quick obedience, swift response to all demands...and maybe you will be the lucky one plucked out of the crowd hurtling over the cliff. And..be very appreciative of this..for you..after all..have been CHOSEN. Ahhh..lucky you. Bow down quickly chosen one. For he has graced you with his presence.
For the WOMEN here who quickly realized that following a herd of foolish rodents was crazy and dangerous? KUDO's to us ladies. Bowing down? Not in our nature. Avoiding the cliff, though? Can bring down the fury of Mr. Nice..and you then deal with the wrath of being the one that got away.
Threats..more lies..horrible portrayals of you designed to discredit any attempts to save others.....Sigh. So, sit back..bide your time. Wait.
Because..there is strength in numbers. I am not alone in this. And Karma is powerful, as am I, and the other ladies who chose not to follow blindly, but to see truth, ugliness and abuse behind the mask of civility and charm Mr. Nice Guy shows to the world. Truth comes out in the end.
And speaking of strength in numbers? The barely saved, the ones who chose to fight back, walk away..and are scarred but still strong? Grow in number every day. Satisfying thought. And the truth cannot be hidden..it is not in his nature. It comes out..for each and every "chosen" one. I send good energy, and hope their eyes will be opened. Be safe.
LEMMINGS From Wikipedia) A small rodent similiar to gerbils and hamsters. In Scandinavia, large migrating groups will reach a cliff overlooking the ocean. They will stop until the urge to press on causes them to jump off the cliff and start swimming, sometimes to exhaustion and death. Lemming suicide is a frequently-used metaphor in reference to people who go along unquestioningly with popular opinion, with potentially dangerous or fatal consequences.
