I catch my breath
As I look into your eyes
And the world stands still around us
It is so hard to find
The words to describe
The whirlwind you leave inside me
I want to say so many things
But my mind just can’t form the path
To explain just what you do to me
When I am frozen in time and lost in your eyes
There is a part of me just waking up
And you have given it life
With my heart in my hands
And my mind no longer in control
I give to you
That secret part of my soul
Take it gently and hold it tightly
As I catch my breath once more
