Lovely.
You sir, are a moron. An idiot. You are an uneducated and ignorant individual. One, like myself, cannot engage in a political or intelligent (yes, those two words still go together) argument with you for one sole reason. You will win that argument. My superior brain power is no match for your foolish antics, and when faced with your demeaning insults I will somehow be forced to lower my own mental capacity to fight your own, and you will rise victorious due to a higher experience.
I figure that more than half of the United States population is (for lack of a dumber word) dumb. I only say the United States because my own education limits me to only including my own country in a fabricated statistic. We are fat, pompous and stupid. We are rich, powerful, and clever enough to hire and import smart people to solve the problems we create. Lovely. A seemingly endless cycle.
We are living__ No, we are dying in a society that is governed by various rules and loopholes. We are dying from obesity, lung cancer, and anorexia. The food we eat is killing us; the air we breathe is killing us, and our conception of beauty is killing us. We have become advertisements. And the advertisements we come up with aren't that sharp. Puns, sexual innuendos, and fart jokes are the norm because smart jokes are considered too smart. Go figure.
I sit here complaining to everyone and no one. In a few minutes I will post this rant. Most of you will skim through it, picking up on the key words, and perhaps comment about my "work." You skim through it because the amount of words is intimidating. To read two or more paragraphs is too much work. Laziness and stupidity. Laziness because we lack energy to try, and stupidity because we think it takes too much energy to think. Too much energy to learn. We have become adjusted to eating cinnamon roles, drinking Gatorade (to be healthy), and masturbation. We rarely even take the time to spell-check let alone learn how to spell. We have become incredible imbeciles.
And what do we do? How do we solve the words problems? We become inspired by slogans and quotes. We make resolutions to quit smoking, to quit drinking. We watch creative movies that tell us the importance of using our imagination and reading books! Smart ideas, and thoughts get imputed into our brains, but only 5% (f**k actually finding the correct percentage) have the motivation, determination, and will-power to put those ideas into the world. Those ideas get used to make the I-pod and McFlurry. And finally we forget. We turn on our televisions, log-in to myspace and watch people post their chain-messages, videos of guys burning poop, blogs, noobs lols, and DGAFOMGSLUTBRB.
How did this happen? How did we devolve? Why don't just become smart? The answer is we became smarter at creating a world where we don't have to be smart. Where comedy is laughing at someone get kicked in the balls and satire is laughing at people laughing at someone getting kicked in the balls. Wit, is making a pop-culture reference about Paris Hilton. Creativity, is revamping an older movie to appeal to the next generation. And lastly intelligence, is posting a blog on myspace, commenting on the obvious faults of today's world.
Our actual fault is we spend too much time looking at our faults and wondering how things got so bad. We need to look at the beautiful aspects of our lives, and apply it to the rest. Make the spectacular happen. Love. Dream. Try. Get off your butt and read a book written by someone not just trying to make money, but trying to teach a lesson. Stop hate and stupidity, by living by example. Smile for god sakes! Apparently we only die once, so you better live twice as hard. Whatever that means.
