| The Distance by slady52 at 4/16/2008 5:17:16 AM
Colorado, New York, Florida, Minnesota, Missouri all a great distance from Oregon.
I have lived in Oregon all my life. Yep a born and raised Oregonian. No not a tree hugger but I love the beauty of it, respect the wildlife and appreciate the slower pace.
I have never really seriously thought of leaving Oregon until recently. My life has changed in the last year and now there really is nothing holding me here.
However the West Coast still holds something very dear to me. That is my daughter. If I was to leave my Oregon it would only be to head north to Washington State to be closer to her.
She recently became engaged and has tempted me with the thought of grandchildren. Oh How I would love to be a grandmother.
Taking them camping and fishing, spoiling them with love.
I receive many messages here from nice gentleman but the problem is they are such a great distance from my home.
Leaving Oregon I can do, but leaving my daughter I doubt I can do that.
I appreciate the fact that there is a small chance I could fall for someone across the US, but unless he was willing to relocate I do not see it going anywhere.
The man that I seek will have to be willing to share me with my girl, and he will have to find a way to me.
That may sound selfish, but I have spent a huge chunk of my life pleasing others and forgetting about myself.
It is now time I do that for me.
If you are the man who lives far far from me, and are still willing to take a chance then contact me.
If you feel as I do and can not leave behind something that is precious to you, then I respect that and thank you for at least taking the time to read my profile.
I hope you find in your life what you seek.
