| Justa' Newbie...

I'm new to this, although I used to chat on msn occasionally. I've spent the past 4 years driving back & forth between TX & ND, with stops in MN to see my oldest son & grandson. The drive gets longer every trip. The first 2 years we went to Austin, then my brother who was in Magnolia, talked me into coming over here. I miss Austin! A girl friend here, got upset when I told her I might move back there, she told me all I needed was a "friend" and talked me into trying a singles site ... I don't know about this! I'm perfectly content with who I am now. I can't say I regret anything because I have some wonderful, ingeneous sons who make my world a brighter place.
Austin ... music ... lakes ... people ... art ... museums ... parks ... weather ... I could walk Town Lake every day without feeling intimidated ... & drive anywhere without feeling like an ant on the freeway ... yeah, I miss it! I even miss stopping to watch the bats under the Congress Bridge!
I love it down here...the weather, the sunrises & sunsets, the culture, the people are friendly & have made me very welcome there are things to do & see, & places to go! I still have to find a place that "calls my name" & screams "this is home" though. One day I will. I wish I could transport the house I spent 20 years working on down here ... into the middle of 100 acres ... & my kids along with it!  I just had to put one of these little guys in...
