| Calming Eyes by giantperson101 at 4/20/2008 1:02:40 AM
The calming blue eyes that soothe my heart and soul.
In the everlasting air that sourrounds us.
Bound to faith we were.
So I thought.
Now I see though time has past, you where the one who
the moment last.
For those great moments which we have shared.
I now know I was the one who was scared.
To ask the one who I thought to be.
Now far away with children is she.
For time has gone and days have past.
Now I see my mistakes at last.
The days for which I hold up my wary head.
I pity myself for never gaining the courage.
To ask the person who made my life blossom.
So I sat there as quiet as a possum.
Now I lie hear in my grave, cold and dead.
And I wonder what she would have said.
It is useless of me to dream.
for I lie here and perish.
Over the moments which I cherish.
Now I know my time has come.
Time to go now as I hear the bell hum.
So as we pass those we love.
dont forget to tell them.
The dreams from above.
It is unbelievable how short life is.
Just ask the person that you love.
For it is the moments in life that we share.
Which makes life worth living.
And I stare
At the glimmering eyes which make me tremble.
This is why I wrote this poem as a symbol.
For the times we might share.
And some fun if you care.
For it is your turn to answer my question.
While I sit in my chair.
Always wondering if it could be,
you know, a couple -- you and me?
