| every day is a winding road....

The sheryl crow song is so true sometimes, huh? We meet people, become friends, things change, situations change... We never really know how things will wind up. And every day, our life experiences take new twists and turns. Amidst what I would consider conflict and adversity, my peaceful nature was tested this week. I found an inner strength and peace that I didn't realize I even possessed... I found that the situation didn't even really carry as much weight in my life as I would have once thought. I spent my evening looking forward to the special im I have been receiving nightly for a while. And once it came, all the events of the evening proceeding that conversation were forgotten. I sit here now, after coming home from working in a place full of negativity and anger and ill will, and I am calm, serene.... patiently awaiting my next im.... WHAT A FABULOUS PLACE TO BE IN! I am so glad I finally reached this calm that I strove so hard to achieve! The Goddess has blessed me... and I wish the same or even greater blessings on all of my dear friends on this site....
