| People Afraid To Take Risk

Hi to all of you out there. I just wanted to share some thoughts on people on this site who have been greatly hurt and are so afraid to reach out to anyone new. I at one time was one of those people as I was in a car accident and suffered a severe head injury, I was with a man for 9 years who not only abadoned me but also took me for alot of money right along with my family. I was so miserable for five years and so lonely. Then one day I sat thinking to myself I do not want to live my life this way anymore what did I need to do to change it. I choose to put the wings of life back on and live again. I wanted to find someone to share my life with and I knew unless I was willing to take a chance on someone I was going to stay a very lonely person. Altho I have not found yet my permanet someone I have met some very quality people on this site who have become my friends. They have enriched my life in many ways and it is so nice to have someone to share with. If you have your head screwed on right and ask the right questions you have a way to find the real people out there, plus I let my stomach and intuition keep score for a minute or two and I usually get the right answer about someone. If something does not feel right that means it is not right. Pay Attention. All I am trying to say life is to short to wallow in the sadness of yesterdays. Carp Diem in latin means seize the day and you will find with an attitude of confidence and postive thought you will draw to you the same. A dear friend of mine now from DH met someone here and the warning bells went off but out of his kind heart and caring nature he ignored them because he felt sorry for someone. Please do not let yourself be led by emotion, use your head and you will find alot of happiness out there and nice people. Everyone everyone is looking for someone to care for and care about them. I can guarentee you will never find them unless you are willing to look without the past in your pocket. Why come on this site unless you are willing to do this. If you use your head you will find alot of happiness if only you care to see. So go out there and live!!!!!!!
