My day started out great with hitting traffic just right and manuvering into the right lanes that moved smoothly to work in great time. Unlike yesterday, when I almost ran into the back of a semi that slamed on his breaks. It wasn't until I got around him that I saw the glass and metal from the SUV he rammed in the back. The SUV then slammed into the back of a car. I saw the female driver of the car moving, but did not see any movement from the SUV. I was not in a position to get out and help and I do not rubber neck, because I do not want to see someone disfigured from an accident. Do you realize if I had been one car ahead, it would have been me?
About an hour after I got to work I smelt fire and discovered it coming from the small microwave in our break room. someone turned it on with nothing in it except the napkins that we keep in there and they were about to ignite. My co-workers teased me about being a hero an saving the hospital from burning down.
I went over to the cafeteria shortly after and almost got in the middle of an altercation between an young man an a patient. Several security gaurds were there and escorted the gentleman out of the hospital.
I had a wonderful first phone call from a gentleman who seems nice, outgoing and funny like me.
I had a couple of good winks form a couple of good potential contacts.
I have been told a couple of times this week that I am attractive and you just can not hear that enough, especially when you have been feeling kinda down. Thanks random stranges, I needed that!
