I know my lifestyle doesnt agree with everyone... Driving a truck for a living is not compatible to relationships..Its not what i do..Its the schedule..
Gone ALOT ... Not there to hold a woman when she needs it..Not there to correct the kids when they need it..Not there when the water pipe breaks at 3 in the morning..
But the paycheck is there when its time to pay the bills..When its time to go to the store.When its time to call out the Plumber at 3 in the morning..
Its a sacrifice thats nesasary for the time being.. NOT A PERMANANT SITUATION.. And its a 2-way scarifice
I'd much rather be at home every nite like most every other man..
Then again there is all the catching up on the weekends
