Here I am Lord send me
Have you said this and then said but do not send me to.....because I can not do that.? Today I was thinking about each of us and how we feel as though if we ask another person to share our lives we then begin to think about change. Yes it will change our lives. This change should be powered by God's love for others though instead of a fleshly, I'll give this up for you there should be I would do anything for you. And that person should be able to safely trust the other's request not be be selfishly painful.
If two Christians are to be equally yoked then I'm of a mind that it should be with a person who loves you as much as you love them (God's love). If truly God's love permeates our being and levels all fields, this love we seek should safely flow.
Right now while we are awaiting for our mate from God, Trust God! And be working on ourselves to do the Word and allow Christ to come forth in us and abide in us.
Then when we are together, if we BOTH stay in Christ we will NOT be doing the quarreling that breaks our hearts. We have been set free from that law, the law that brings sin and death. We are free to love and to be loved by each other.
My basis for this Biblical thought is the book of Ephesians in the New Testament. What love looks like comes from 1 Corinthians 13, the love chapter.
