Let These Words Becomes My Ruin (poem)
by obeydisorder at 5/12/2008 5:55:10 PM

Let these words become my ruin. May it all come down tonight. A tumbling fall as the crowd walks by in the glowing candle light. Let these times slip through these fingers. Make this one escalate. Another moment, another chance and hope is running late. Keep this one buried deep. Seal your lips if just this time. The breeze exhales, the shivers settle, the heat begins to climb. Spare little thought this way. This night is better rotten. There may be more to learn, but more's to be forgotten. Lose those keys if it's your will. Turn your head if so you please. I'll do the same and much is lost so swiftly as with ease. Step one foot with conviction, the other with ample haste. Step neither in this direction - surely that'd be one to waste. As the night rolls into morning, last words are always shy. It's over and done and I'll be gone, but never have said goodbye
