I work part time for a winery. We see lots of people on first dates. We do not charge for tastings, but with a tour and tasting it takes about an hour. You only taste about one eighth ounce of each wine, so a full tasting flight is less than one glass over an hour. I do recommend eating before you taste so you have something in your stomach to absorb the wine, and bring a picnic lunch to share and enjoy the beautiful rural scenery. You learn a great deal about a new person over wine.

Hint.... when you go wine tasting youre supposed to spit it out not drink it for those who dont know I figured it out by experience but good idea

Yes, Ihave done wine tasting B4 & it'sa so much fun, especially if ya get a little buzz...you might end up buying a bottle B4 ya leave!

Great idea and with all the wineries around my area it would be quite easy to do. I have always had a good time when touring them.

I really like this idea. I've never done wine tasting before and getting to know someone over alcohol is pretty cute and original. LOL!!!
