Walking the beach in another spot in paradise.
Cute little Jewish guy from New York (Now I'm more Buddhist than Jewish--but one cannot deny their roots! This is a picture of my sailboat, Bel Ami. Its 53 feet, quite luxurious, with all the amenities of a 2 bedroom condo. Great galley, two private bedroom suites fore and aft, fabulous music system, washing machine, water maker, and many other creature comforts. Bel Ami is a world class cruising sailboat, currently lying in the Bahamas. This past Spring I sailed from St. Thomas to Puerto Rico. This picture was taken in Boqueron, PR, me eating a ?chulupa?? Delicious!!! Oh yes, I love to eat, and I also love to cook.
Speared this hogfish south of the Turks and Caicos in a place called Sandy Cay. Made for great eating. I am relatively new at spear fishing and ocean fishing, and the past 6 months has been a real learning experience!Travelled from Turks and Caicos to the Bahamas, and this sign says it all. Checked into the Bahamas at the island of Mayaguana. Not much there, a lot of sand, and some really great people! My first beer in the Bahamas, a Kalik, of course (the local Bahamas beer). I'm not much of a drinker, actually a real light weight. Cheap date, I guess.
Rum Cay is a little island in the "Far Out" Bahamas. Here I am on a rented golf cart, riding on the main road of the island. About 90 souls live on this little island, livin' the life...Just shot this lobster. Bel Ami's freezer is packed with lobster, conch, and fish. Got really spoiled about my diet! Can't eat out as good as this! Although going out to a nice dinner is always a nice thing to do...My friend Victor carved this face, and I thought it reminded me of myself!
Walking the beach in another spot in paradise.Thats me with my spear, diving (free diving without tanks) about 25 -30 feet on a wreck at the North Rocks at Conception Island, Bahamas. The wreck still had intact bales of pot in its holds!Check out the little birdie on my right shoulder. This little birdie was the friendliest bird I ever met!
